Information about Belleville High School's Enrichment Program
September 1, 2015
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Belleville High School will continue to implement Enrichment periods during the 2015-2016 school year. On Wednesdays of every week, students will be dismissed at 1:44pm in order to participate in tutoring sessions and extra-curricular activities. This will allow students to become more involved in school activities without taking time away from their after school commitments.
Students are required to attend a minimum of two Wednesday Enrichment periods per marking period, a total of eight periods per year. This will afford all students an equal opportunity to seek additional help for academics and to participate in school activities. Failure to fulfill the Wednesday Enrichment requirement will result in a parent/student conference with the High School Administration.
Additionally, students with an average of lower than a 70 (in any given course) will be required to attend every enrichment period for the remainder of the marketing period. A progress report will be sent home informing parents of the student’s current grade. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in loss of course credit. Please encourage your children to take advantage of the opportunities available during Enrichment periods.
Thank you for your cooperation, this is an excellent opportunity for everyone involved and we look forward to beginning a new year with you and your child!
Sincerely,
Mr. Russell Pagano and the Belleville High School Staff
