Hello and welcome to my page.

Encouraging words can propel a child to greatness while a careless remark from a thoughtless person can send a child into a lifelong tailspin. Use your mouth to speak life! Rather than crushing and criticizing, resolve to build up our children when the world tears them down. Look for opportunities to affirm. Let's catch our children doing something right and praise them.

Speak Life

"Some days life feels perfect
Other days, it just ain't working
The good, the bad, the wright, the wrong
And everything in between
It's crazy, amazing
We can turn our heart through the words we say
Mountains crumble with every syllable
Hope can live or die
So speak life, speak life
To the deadest darkest night
Speak life, speak life
When the sun won't shine and you don't know why
Look into the eyes of the broken hearted
Watch them come alive as soon as you speak
HOPE
you speak love, you speak...
You speak life
Some days the tongue gets twisted
Other days thoughts just fall apart
I do, I don't, I will, I won't
It's like I'm drowning in the deep
Well, it's crazy to imagine
Words from my lips as the arms of compassion
Mountains crumble with every syllable
Hope can live or die
So speak Life
Lift your head a little higher
Spread the love like fire
Hope will fall like rain
When you speak life with the words you say
Raise your thoughts a little higher
Use your words to inspire
Joy will fall like rain when you speak life with the things you say"

Family

"What we desperately need as a framework on which to rebuild the quaking family is a generation of...
men who know who they are...
men who know where they are going...
men who know in whom they believe...
men who will put the best interests of their wives and children above their own selfish desires and pursuits...
men who will fight for what they believe." Dr. James Dobson

Be One

We don't feel ready
We don't feel steady
Question what we really have to give
Stay where it's safer
Claim faith, but waiver
"Is this how we're really meant to live?
We pray but never move
We say but never do
It's time to get our hands dirty
Be love, there's a whole lot of hurting
Calling all hearts, calling all hands, calling all feet to take a stand
Why sit around and wait for a miracle to come
When we can be one
A little something
Might feel like nothing
To speak life to the broken
Watch the blind eyes open
We can be the change, be the hope
We can be the arms that don't let go
We can be a light in the dark
We are, we are where it starts
Calling all hearts, calling all hands, calling all feet to take a stand
Why sit around and wait for a miracle to come."

To The Graduates

"And my advice to you graduates is; learn how to cook. Build something with your own hands. Know how to change a car tire. Learn how to whistle. Make a baby. Oh sorry, that's make a baby laugh; doesn't have to be yours." John Ratzenberger

You Are Loved

"We hide pain in the weirdest places
Broken souls with smiling faces
Fighting for surrender
For now and the after
Just look around and you'll see that people
Are scared to say how they really feel
Oh, we need a little honesty.
 You are loved
If your heart's in a thousand pieces
If you're lost and you're far from reason
Just look up and know you are loved
When it feels like something's missing
If it hurts but you can't find healing
Just look up and know you are loved
We are not made to be superheroes
Photoshopped, all size zeroes
A light not expected
But not quite perfected yet
Look up; see the sun is shinning
There's hope on a new horizon
Calling you, it's calling...
You don't have to prove yourself
Don't try to be someone else." Chris Cleveland, Kyle Williams, Josh Zegan, Jeff Sojka

Priceless

"Mirror mirror, mirror on the wall
Telling those lies, pointing out your flaws
That isn't who you are
It might be hard to hear, but let me tell you dear
If you could see what I see, I know you would believe
That isn't who you are
So when it's late, you're wide awake
Too much to take
Don't you dare forget that in the pain
You can be brave, hear me say
I see you dressed in white
Every wrong made right
I see a rose in bloom
At the sight of you (oh so priceless)
Irreplaceable, unmistakable, incomparable
Darling, it's beautiful
I see it all in you (oh so priceless)
No matter what you've heard, this is what you're worth
More than all the money or diamonds or pearls
Oh this is who you are
Yea this is who you are!" Joel and Luke Smallbone

The Wisdom of Knowledge

"Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is wisdom." Charles Spurgeon

Somebody

"Well, he's got problems nobody wants a part of
When he got up and slipped out nobody stood up
They don't wanna make a scene
So they let him walk outta there without a prayer
You'd think somebody would do something different
You'd think somebody would go against the grain
Be the one to run him down
Bring him back and turn him around
You'd think somebody would wanna make a difference
Well, well I wonder who that somebody could be
Prob'ly somebody like me
You think somebody would put their arm around him
You think somebody would hit a knee
Pull him in, say a prayer
That's what I'm talking bout right there
You'd think somebody would wanna make a difference
Well, well I wonder who that somebody could be
Prob'ly somebody like me." Jason Crabb
